As with most things you can buy, toys do have ‘accessories’. These products can make the experience better or help with cleaning. On this article I will share my top things that I suggest you purchase alongside your toys.
Lubricant
Lubricant is a vital part of sex play. Some may say their natural lubricant is sufficient for sex toy play but from experience and reading others experiences lube can make sex play even better. Male suckers in particular will definitely need lube either it be for blowjob masturbators like the Autoblow 2 or prostate massagers like the Aneros Maximus.
If you’ve ever browsed around a lube selection on an online store then you’ll notice the wide variety available. I always stick to water based lubricant as silicone based ones can damage silicone based toys. Depending on the type of sex toy play there are many lubes suitable but for anal play I would suggest getting a thicker lube like Maximus for extra comfort and lastability.

Condoms
Yes you heard me right condoms are important also especially if you are going to use porous toys. Porous materials like Rubber and most Realistic Feeling sex toys are usually porous meaning you cannot make the toy 100% clean, therefore putting a condom over the vibrator or dildo is very important.
Getting the right sized condom is important as dildos can get quite big. Luckily some brands have it covered with XL sized condoms like Magnum XL that will do the job for all but the monster dildos.

Sex Toy Cleaner
There are many ways to clean toys depending on their material but our preferred method is using a toy cleaner like Lovehoney Sqwerty and some boiling water. This combination we’ve found makes 100% sure our toys are kept hygienic after use.
Many cleaners are available at varying prices but most will do the job without having to spend a fortune on. Don’t be suckered into really expensive cleaners as they most likely won’t do a better job than the cheap versions.
Cleaners I recommend: Loving Joy Sparkle, Lovehoney Sqwerty, Dr. Laura Berman 6.28oz Toy Cleaner and 4.3oz Antibacterial Sex Toy Cleaner.
Batteries
Many toys especially the cheaper ones rely on standard batteries to keep them running. Most bj machines do not include batteries when you buy them so it’s important that you check what batteries you need to have when you buy the sex toy. There’s nothing worse than finding out that you haven’t got the batteries when you want to try out your new toy!
There are a few usual types of batteries when it comes to sex toys. Bullet vibrators usually have watch type batteries whilst rabbits and other vibrators of that size are usually AA or AAA. Due to the amount of toys I use I have invested in high power rechargeable batteries and a fast charger that reduces battery costs by a long way.
Anal Douches
If you want to do some anal play and are weary of cleanliness then an anal douche is a great solution. Not only are douches simple to use and effective but they are extremely well priced. One of our pet peeves with douches is the difficulty of cleaning them so buying new ones regularly is recommended.
However products like the StreemMaster Hygiene Solutions are now becoming available which are made of silicone, making them much easier to clean.

Not Recommended
There are a few products I would advise against either it being because they simply don’t work or for health issues.
